Congratulations to our newest recipients, who join the family of SIET Fellows around the world. The Trust awards Fellowships twice a year, in the Spring and the Autumn. In this year’s Autumn round, we made nine awards supporting these new Fellows in taking up a range of exciting international challenges. Here, in their own words, is what the awards mean to them...

On 3 August 2026 our provider Beacon, which provides CRM software for SIET and many other charities, informed us that it had experienced a cyber-security incident. Beacon has confirmed that an unauthorised third party gained access to its systems, copies of customer database backups were made, and the available evidence suggests that those copies were downloaded. Huge congratulations to our most recent recipients, who join the family of SIET fellows around the world. Even among an incredibly strong field of applicants, they shone. All three candidates demonstrated the ambition, drive and an enthusiasm for excellence that have so often been the hallmarks of successful applicants. The trustees recently committed to an extensive programme of fundraising to ensure we continue to fulfil our mission for many years to come.
