SIET has added four new trustees to our board, and wished a fond farewell to three longstanding board members. At its meeting in early December, the Trust's board officially welcomed its new members, Kelly Finnan, David Mungall and former SIET award recipients, Alistair Somerville and Jenny Thornton. Huge congratulations to our most recent recipients, who join the family of SIET fellows around the world. Even among an incredibly strong field of applicants, they shone. All three candidates demonstrated the ambition, drive and an enthusiasm for excellence that have so often been the hallmarks of successful applicants. Trustees were also impressed by their plans for the future, and the obviously transformative nature of the activities they have chosen to pursue. Three awards

The trust has been helping remarkable young Scots fulfil their potential for over half a century. The trustees recently committed to an extensive programme of fundraising to ensure we continue to fulfil our mission for many years to come. We are looking for new trustees whose energy, insights and commitment to the transformative power of international education can help us build for the next fifty years.
